Recipe 1st: Matcha latte

Materials

  • 1 tsp. matcha tea (2 gr.)
  • 1 tsp. crystalline sugar or honey (10 ml) or any sweetener of your choice
  • 3 tbsp. hot water
  • 250 ml of coconut milk

Preparation

  1. Whisk the matcha with warm water in a bowl or small bowl.
  2. Add the coconut milk and sweetener of our choice and whisk.

TIPS: We can add 3 - 5 ice cubes and whipped cream on top by sprinkling with a little matcha powder.

Recipe 2nd: Matcha Ice Cream

Materials

  • 1, 5 - 2 tbsp. matcha tea
  • 60 g granulated sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 180 ml of coconut milk
  • 180 ml of cream

Preparation

  1. Mix the matcha tea with the sugar (2 tsp.).
  2. Mix the rest of the sugar with the egg yolks.
  3. Add the tea and sugar to the egg yolks and mix until a thick cream forms.
  4. Heat the coconut milk in a small saucepan. Do not allow it boil. Remove it from the heat and stir a small amount into the thick cream.
  5. Add all the coconut milk gradually stirring and then reheating again.
  6. Pass all the mixture through a sieve to remove the pellets and let it cool.
  7. Beat the sour cream in the mixer and slowly add the green mixture.
  8. Once it has a smooth, creamy texture, place it in a container and leave it in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  9. Finally, place it in the freezer.

TIPS: You can replace the crystalline sugar with honey.
