Homemade Iced Tea

White, black and green tea! That it is a summer time does not mean that we cannot enjoy our favorite tea, since there is the Iced Tea. The iced tea, as well as the hot, has a number of health benefits.

It is the most refreshing beverage for the summer. It boosts mood and hydrate the body almost with zero calories. The best alternative to coffee or other soft drinks is a homemade iced tea.

The preparation method is fast and easy. Just follow the 4 steps below.

  1. Add 4 - 6 tsp. tea leaves/dried fruit tea (9 gr. leaves/ 1 L cold water) for 1 L of cold water or 1 - 2 tsp. tea leaves (2 gr) for each cup of tea (200 ml).
  2. Allow at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  3. Add ice or refrigerate for up to 10 hours.
  4. Serve with lemon, fruits of your choice, honey, herbs.

The above preparation of iced tea applies to all varieties found in the Iced Tea category. 

The iced tea should be consumed as soon as possible. 

Store for 2 - 3 days in the refrigerator.

You can add 2 - 3 tsp. stevia leaves for more sweater taste.
