That is why, white tea is a high quality variety with the highest antioxidant rate. Pai mu tan means white peony, the national plant of China, for that reason they attribute the name pai mu tan as a tribute. The leaves of white tea pai mu tan consists of two youngest leaves of the plant and one bud that is still closed. The brew gives a yellowish color with a slightly roasted flavor. A light, delicate tea that can be consumed all the hours of the day but also beautifully accompanies the afternnon hours of relaxation.
